Junior Jessica Flores scored NU’s lone goal in a 2-1 loss at Ashland, who is receiving votes in the national rankings, on Friday (Sept. 25). The Timberwolves are 2-2 in the GLIAC, which is tied for fifth in the league. Flores leads the team with four goals on 15 shots for the early season. Northwood hosts Ferris State on Friday (Oct. 2) at 2 p.m.

Mark MorrisFootball- Senior
Mark Morris passed for a career-high 337 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the football team’s 31-13 win over Wayne State. Morris had touchdown passes that covered 82 and 43 yards in the game, going 17-24 overall. He has gone 88 passes since his last interception while tossing five touchdowns in that stretch.
