Women's Tennis Defeats Ferris State 8-1

The Northwood women's tennis team moved its record to 7-0 with an 8-1 road victory over Ferris State Tuesday afternoon (September 18).

The Timberwolves are also 7-0 in the GLIAC. Ferris State falls to 6-1 overall and in the GLIAC.

Doubles again proved to be a strength for the Timberwolves, as NU came out and won all three matches. The Timberwolves are now 20-1 overall on the season in doubles.

NU went on to post five victories in singles, four of which came in straight sets. Northwood's record in singles so far this year stands at 37-5.

Northwood will compete at the ITA Regional this weekend (Sept. 21-23).
