Northwood Announces Softball Coaching Staff Change
MIDLAND, MICH. – Northwood University has announced it will not renew the contract of softball coach Meaggan Pettipiece.
The remainder of her contract, which runs through June 30, will be honored.
"We would like to thank Meaggan for her service to Northwood," said Dave Marsh, Northwood University Athletic Director. "At this time, we feel the program needs to go in a new direction. We wish Meaggan the best in the future."
Pettipiece recently completed her 10th season as the head coach of the Timberwolves. She had a record of 217-225 overall, 138-118 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
The search for a new coach will begin immediately.
