Brendan Hammer Named To The Midwest Region All-Defensive Team

ABCA DII REGIONAL ALL-DEFENSIVE TEAMS

MIDLAND, MICH. – Brendan Hammer, a junior on the Northwood University baseball team, has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Midwest Region All-Defensive team.

Hammer was outstanding in the field at third base for the Timberwolves. He made 47 starts at the hot corner, registering a .977 fielding percentage. He had 96 assists to go with 32 putout while making just three errors. Hammer also finished the year batting .307 with 33 RBIs at the plate for the Timberwolves.

Northwood made history in 2025, earning its first Midwest Region Championship and trip to the NCAA Championship in program history. The Timberwolves also took home the G-MAC North Division title as well as the G-MAC Tournament title.
