Lucas McKinney Named ABCA/Rawlings Second Team All-Midwest Region

ABCA/RAWLINGS ALL-REGION TEAMS

MIDLAND, MICH. – Senior Lucas McKinney from the Northwood University baseball team has earned Second Team All-Midwest Region honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings (ABCA)

Selections were voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and coordinated by the ABCA NCAA Div. II All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.

Athletic Communications professionals nominated and voted on the All-Region teams.

McKinney also earned Second Team All-Region from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.

In his final season at Northwood McKinney turned in an outstanding season. He finished the season with a 7-2 record and a 2.56 ERA. He struck out 53 in 63 1/3 innings of work. In conference play, McKinney led the G-MAC with a 1.73 ERA.
