RECAP: The Division 3 hockey team split their weekend series against the University of Michigan. The Timberwolves earned a 5-2 home win on Friday (October 3) before falling 3-1 on the road Saturday night (October 4). 

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS 

  • The Timberwolves got off to a quick start, with Evan Kennedy setting up Cade Sanborn to make it 1-0 heading into the first intermission. Goaltender Aidan Schultz kept the net clean through the first period. 

  • Aidan French added Northwood's fifth goal in the third period, assisted by Cooper Harfoot. Michigan added a late goal, but Northwood secured the 5-2 win.
