D3 Hockey Ranked No. 8 in ACHA Seventh Rankings

ACHAHOCKEY.ORG DIVISION 3 RANKINGS

MIDLAND, MICH. – Northwood's Division 3 hockey team has been ranked No. 8 in the country for Division 3 hockey according to the achahockey.org website.

The Timberwolves now have a record of 19-6-1 while being 7-3 in conference play, and finished second in the MCHC (MI) East Division. Their most recent result was a 1-0 home win against Oakland University on Saturday, after losing 4-3 away against the Golden Grizzlies on Friday.

The team travels to Grand Rapids to compete in the MCHC Playoffs, where they earned a first-round bye with a second-place finish in the East Division, and head straight to the quarterfinals on Saturday (February 21).
