Bio

McKerr is in his first year as Assistant Athletic Director for Promotions at Northwood University. In this role, he oversees in-game promotions while also supervising Northwood's mascot, Woody, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and student-athlete development initiatives.

A two-time graduate of Northwood, McKerr earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management in 2023 and his MBA from the DeVos Graduate School in 2024. As a student-athlete, he was a member of the Timberwolves football program from 2019–2023 and a two-time recipient of the Timby Go MAD Award (2023, 2024). The award goes to recognizing those who make a real difference through their actions, growth, and impact on others.

Before returning to Northwood, McKerr spent a year at William & Mary serving as Facilities and Operations Event Manager.
