Baseball Sweeps Doubleheader At Ohio Dominican

RECAP: Northwood baseball earns a pair of wins to take a series at Ohio Dominican Sunday (April 28), with NU taking game one 6-4 and game two 11-4.
GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS (SEVEN INNINGS)
- Ben Narr put up the first run of the game with an RBI double in the top of the second to put the Timberwolves on top 1-0.
- Ohio Dominican took the lead in the bottom of the third with two runs.
- Northwood responded right away in the top of the fourth, starting with an RBI single by Joey Johnston.
- Matt Magno put NU on top 4-2 later in the fourth with a two-run single.
- The Panthers got one back in the bottom of the fourth to make the score 4-3.
- Northwood plated a pair in the fifth on a Ben Clark single and another Narr double.
- ODU rounded out the scoring in the bottom of the sixth with a run to make the final 6-4.

GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS (NINE INNINGS)
- Northwood got going right away in the first inning on a Blake Salamon two-run single for an early lead.
- Ohio Dominican responded with two runs of their own to make it a tie game heading to the second.
- NU put up two more runs in the second thanks to Clark. His first career homer, a two-run shot, put Northwood on top 4-2.
- The Timberwolves extended their lead in the third, starting with an RBI single by Alex Cole.
- Narr continued his strong afternoon with an RBI single. Cole also came home on the play on a throwing error to make the score 7-2.
- The Timberwolves broke the game open in the fourth with four more runs. Drew Charters got the scoring going with an RBI single.
- Cole and Clark followed with RBI singles of their own to get Northwood to 10 runs for the game.
- Clark then came home on a throwing error to put the Timberwolves on top 11-1 in the fourth.
- Ohio Dominican scored two runs in the seventh to get within seven. Those two runs proved to be the final of the contest, giving Northwood a win to take the final three games of the four-game series.
