Baseball Earns ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

ABCA TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD ANNOUNCEMENT

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University baseball team earned an American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Academic Excellence award, the organization announced Wednesday (July 23).

The award honors ABCA member programs that posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year. This year's award recipients include nearly 500 college programs. Ninety-one Division II schools were honored for the 2026 season. Six schools from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference were recognized.
