Northwood Call Of Duty Player Goes Pro

Northwood Call Of Duty Player Goes Pro

Player:
Jeremiah "Nium" Harrison

Context:
Varsity Call of Duty player, Jeremiah "Nium" Harrison, has signed with the professional Call of Duty League (CDL) team, the Los Angeles Thieves.

Last year, Harrison was a breakout star in the game's official amateur league, Call of Duty Challengers, even getting brought in to play for Team War during the 2025 Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia.

At the start of 2026, Harrison was brought to play for The Huntsmen, the official academy team for the CDL organization Optic Texas. Under the resources brought for the Huntsmen roster, Harrison was able to achieve consistent Top 4 Finishes in the various tournaments of the Call of Duty Challengers season.

With Jeremiah's signing with the Los Angeles Thieves, he is no longer eligible to compete in the College Call of Duty League (CCL). However, he does plan to finish out the semester with Northwood.

Quote:
Ryan Sebek - Competitions and Broadcast Coordinator
"It's been amazing to see how Nium has progressed as a player over the past year. He's already done a lot for Northwood, helping us get 3rd place in the CCL last season. We're excited to see what he can do in the CDL."

Head Coach Jacob Jacob
"With Northwood, our players compete in various leagues during the season. This level of demand and consistency that collegiate esports brings helps players hone their skills and develop a structure that many players outside cannot. Nium is another example of how Northwood's environment breeds future esports talents."
