Leonard Haynes Resigns As Northwood Head Football Coach

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University athletic department has announced the resignation of head football coach Leonard Haynes.

"I want to thank Leonard Haynes for his dedication to Northwood," said athletic director Jeff Curtis. "He has played an important role in athletics throughout his time at the University, and I wish him nothing but success going forward."

Haynes spent the past seven seasons as head coach of the Timberwolves. Before that, Haynes was an assistant coach at Northwood in various roles from 1995-2015. He graduated from Northwood in 1994 with a degree in Marketing & Management.

A national search for a new head football coach will begin immediately.
