T.J. Lynch is in his second season on the Northwood University football staff. He joined the program in the summer of 2023 as the defensive line coach.

Lynch came to Northwood after gaining valuable experience at three division II school in the state of Michigan. He was the defensive line coach at Davenport from 2015-18, which was followed by him taking over as the defensive ends coach at Ferris State in 2019. Lynch then spent time at Saginaw Valley as the Defensive Line Coach/Run Game Coordinator/NFL Liaison.

Prior to Davenport, Lynch spent a season at Faulkner University as the outside linebackers coach and a year at Bluefield College as the Defensive line coach.

Lynch graduated from Western Michigan in 2012, where he was a member of the football team.
