GAME STORY
- Northwood started the game strong, scoring the first seven points of the game.
- Ashland responded, going on top for the first time at 14-13.
- The first half was tightly contested the rest of the way, with the biggest lead standing at six points.
- Ashland eventually held a 37-32 lead at the break.
- The Eagles took an eight point early in the second half (40-32), which was the biggest advantage in the second half.
- Northwood tied the game at 48-48 with 7:19 remaining, only to see Ashland score seven straight to lead 55-48 with 4:48 remaining.
- NU came back to cut the lead to one at 55-54 with under a minute remaining.
- That was as close as the Timberwolves would get, however, as the Eagles scored six of the final eight points to win 61-56.
