• Hillsdale scored the first five points of the game, only to see the Timberwolves come right back with eight straight points.
• Northwood took the lead for good at 22-20, which started a 12-2 run that put the Timberwolves on top 32-22 with 4:31 remaining.
• NU pushed their lead to as many as 13 before holding a 41-30 lead at the break.
• The NU advantage stayed between six and 12 the opening 11 minutes of the second half.
• Hillsdale fought back to get within three at 63-60 at the 8:24 mark, but that proved to be as close as the Chargers would get down the stretch.
• Northwood came right back with six straight points to go up 69-60 at the 6:13 mark.
• Hillsdale got no closer than seven the rest of the way. NU led by as many as 15 before winning by 14.
