Men's Basketball Earns 78-69 Road Win At Ohio Dominican

RECAP: Northwood men's basketball controls the final minutes of a 78-69 road win at Ohio Dominican Saturday afternoon (January 24).
GAME STORY
- The game was closely contested for the majority of the opening half – Ohio Dominican held a 13-12 lead at the 11:39 mark.
- The Panthers went on the first significant run of the game at that point, scoring 11 of the next 13 points to go up 24-14 with under five minutes remaining.
- ODU held their biggest lead of the day at 28-16 with 3:40 to go when Northwood finished the half strong. The Timberwolves scored 10 of the final 14 points of the half to cut the Panther lead to 32-26 at the break.
- Ohio Dominican pushed their lead to 45-33 with 13:32 remaining when Northwood made a run. The Timberwolves posted an 11-0 push to get back within one at 45-44.
- The Panthers got back up by seven (54-47) with 8:42 remaining when Northwood made another run. Capped by back-to-back 3-pointers by Julian Lewis in the span of 30 seconds, Northwood took the lead, their first of the game, at 60-59 with 4:55 to go.
- With the score tied 63-63 with under three minutes to go, the Timberwolves controlled the remainder of the game to earn the win. NU put up 15 of the final 21 points over the final 2:59 to earn the win.
