Bio

Sean Mock is the newest member of the Northwood University men's basketball staff. The 2016-17 season will be his second at Northwood.

Mock comes to Northwood after spending four seasons as the Director of Basketball Operations at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. While at Miami, Mock assisted with the day-to-day duties with the team. He also served as a volunteer assistant coach for one year during the 2011-12 season.

A four-year letterwinner for Miami, Mock was a co-captain his senior season. Mock earned a Spirit of Miami Award winner, which is presented annually to a male and female student-athlete for their exceptional enthusiastic commitments to their teams. He also twice earned the team's Marshal North Award, which is given to the player who RedHawk Coaching Staff best exemplifies the virtue of loyalty--to the University, team and coaches--and whose personal sacrifice of time, effort and energy contribute materially to the advancement of the record of the team.

Mock is a native of Oxford, Ohio. He earned multiple honors from Talawanda High School, where he led the team to a MML Championship.

Mock earned his degree in history from Miami in 2010. He and his wife Andrea were married in the fall of 2015.
