Jagger Richard & Austin Deiters Earn All-GLIAC Honors
MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University men's golf team placed a pair of student-athletes on the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) teams, the league announced Tuesday (April 30).
Junior Jagger Richard earned First Team All-GLIAC honors, while junior Austin Deiters was placed on the Second Team.
Richard set a new Northwood individual scoring record this season, currently standing with a 73.48 average. In 10 events this season, Richard earned four top-five finishes, which included a first place finish at Music City Invite. He shot three rounds of 67 or better for the Timberwolves this year. Richard will compete at the NCAA Super Regionals May 9-11 after qualifying as an individual for the event.
Dieters also broke the old individual scoring record for Northwood in 2018-19, finishing the year at 73.8. He now stands only behind Richard on the all-time list. Deiters had three top-five and four top-10 finishes for Northwood the season.
