RECAP: Northwood men's golf opened their 2023-24 season with an eighth-place finish at the Al Watrous Invitational Saturday-Sunday (September 7-8)

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood shot team scores of 306 and 298 to finish at 604 overall.
• The Timberwolves also fielded a second team at the event. They shot scores of 312 and 302 to finish at 614, good for 11th place.
• Wayne State was the overall winner at 573 (290-283).
• A total of 14 teams took part in the event.

• David Skobe: 75-70=145 – t- ninth place
• Viktor Nibell: 74-74=148 – t17th place
• Jacob Scharret: 76-74=150 – t26th place
• A total of 75 players competed in the tournament
