RECAP: Northwood men's lacrosse traveled to Romeville, Ill. Tuesday (March 11) to take on the No.11 Flyers. Lewis overmatched the young Northwood squad winning convincingly 20-7.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Drew Lockwood put Northwood up 1-0 less than a minute into the match. This would be the only lead the Timberwolves would hold on the day.
- A few minutes later, the Flyers started what would be a 5-0 run before Northwood added another at the 2:19 mark of the first quarter.
- After the first, Lewis held the 5-2 advantage.
- The second quarter was more of the same, Lewis added two more before Andrew Rogers made it 7-3.
- Lewis continued the second ending the second on another 5-1 run, taking a 12-4 lead into the half.
- Teams traded a pair of goals in the third, Northwood wouldn't get any closer than eight the rest of the way. Lewis extended their lead to 13 at the final 20-7.
