G-MAC MEN'S LACROSSE CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL
MIDLAND, MICH. – Northwood University's men's lacrosse team qualified for its first Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament, announced by the conference Wednesday (April 23).
Northwood is the 6-seed heading into tournament play and will face the 3-seeded Walsh Cavaliers in the quarterfinal round on Saturday (April 26) at 1 p.m. at Larry Staudt Field in North Canton, Ohio.
In their first year as a program in 25 years, the Timberwolves are 5-8 overall and 4-5 in G-MAC play, earning the honor of playing in the conference tournament.
The two teams previously faced off on March 20 in North Canton, where the Cavaliers secured a convincing 17-6 win. As Northwood looks to flip the script, the winner will go on to face the 2-seeded Lake Erie Storm in Painesville, Ohio, on Wednesday, April 30.
