Northwood Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2026 Season Schedule

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood men's lacrosse program has officially unveiled its 2026 schedule, the team announced Friday (January 2). Entering the second full year of NCAA Division II competition since the program's reinstatement, the Timberwolves are set for a 15-game regular season slate highlighted by eight Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) contests and seven non-conference matchups.

Northwood opens the 2026 campaign on January 30, traveling to a neutral site for a matchup against Lewis. The Timberwolves will then hit the road for a February 7 contest at Indianapolis before returning home on February 21 to host Quincy.

Conference play begins on February 28 when the Timberwolves travel to Thomas More, kicking off a stretch that alternates home and road contests throughout March and April. Northwood returns to Midland on March 7 for a home conference matchup against Walsh before welcoming Rockhurst on March 12 in a non-conference meeting.

The Timberwolves continue G-MAC action with a home game against Malone (March 21) before heading on the road for back-to-back contests at Wheeling (March 26) and new conference foe, Point Park (March 28). Northwood then hosts Lake Erie under the lights on April 1.

April features a challenging road swing, beginning at Tiffin (April 8) and Seton Hill (April 11), before closing the regular season with home matchups against Davis & Elkins (April 18) and Davenport (April 21).

The top six teams in the conference will advance to the 2026 Great Midwest Men's Lacrosse Championship, beginning with the quarterfinal round on April 25. Semifinal action is scheduled for April 29, followed by the G-MAC Championship Final on May 2.

Northwood enters year two with momentum following its return to NCAA Division II play in 2025. The Timberwolves continue building around a youthful core, including key returners in 2025 Second Team All-Conference Honorees, sophomores Drew Lockwood and Andrew Rogers. Other key players include junior MacKennan Tognetti and sophomores Ryder Mulvey and Dylan Ayotte.
