RECAP: Men's soccer earns comeback 2-1 road win over Upper Iowa Friday afternoon (November 1).


  • Upper Iowa took the early lead in the game, finding the back of the net in the 11th minute.
  • The Timberwolves held a big edge in shots in the opening half and finally leveled the score in the 34th minute. Charlie Evans netted the first goal of his career off a pass from Jack Doyle. That goal sent the game to the break tied 1-1. The Timberwolves ended opening 45 minutes with a 14-4 edge in shots.
  • Doyle then gave the Timberwolves the win in the 68th minute. His goal at 67:45 came off a pass from Ben Campbell and gave Northwood the lead.
  • Northwood maintained their advantage the final 23 minutes of the game to earn the win.
