RECAP: The Northwood men's soccer opened conference play at home Thursday (September 19) against Kentucky Wesleyan. A second-half goal by the Panthers proved to be the difference as Northwood fell 1-0.  

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• A very tight first half saw an even 7-7 line on the shots, with Northwood having the 1-0 edge on corners. The teams went into the half tied 0-0.
• Moving into the second half, a Panther throw-in came quickly as they capitalized, scoring in the 72', 1-0 KWC.
• KWC's goal proved to be the only scoring in the match as teams continued the back-and-forth affair. Kentucky Wesleyan staved off any Northwood threat as the Timberwolves fell 1-0.
