RECAP: Men's soccer earned a 1-0 win over visiting Walsh on Saturday (November 2). The Timberwolves need the one score as their defense held for the shutout.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• The first half finished with a 0-0 score on the scoreboard. Northwood looked to be in control, holding a 9-4 shot lead and a 3-1 lead in corners.
• Nathan Casal found his team-leading sixth goal of the season in the 60'.  A perfect through ball from Jackson Dear near midfield found Casal in stride, punching it into the lower right corner, 1-0.
• The goal proved to be the game-winner as Northwood's defense continued to prevent any Walsh offensive opportunity, limiting the Cavs to just two shots on goal during the contest.
• Northwood's defense turned away three straight Walsh corner opportunities in the 83'. Those resulted in zero shots.
• A last-ditch shot with two seconds remaining was also saved by keeper Nick Borkowski, sending NU to the 1-0 win.
