Men's Tennis Team To Host Opening Rounds Of NCAA Tournament

The Northwood University men's tennis will host the opening two rounds of the 2012 NCAA Division II Tournament Saturday and Sunday (April 28-29).

Northwood (14-1) is the No. 2 seed in the Midwest Region. They have earned an opening round bye. The Timberwolves will face the winner of the opening round contest between No. 3 Southern Indiana (21-3) and No. 6 Northern Kentucky (14-6).

The USI/NKU match will take place Saturday (April 28) at 1 p.m. The winner will face Northwood in the second round Sunday morning (April 29) at 9 a.m.

All matches will be played indoors at the Midland Community Tennis Center.

The winner of the match on Saturday will advance to the Round of 16, which will take place in Louisville, Kentucky May 16-19.
