Men's Tennis Puts Three On The All-GLIAC Teams

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University men's tennis team placed three players on the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) team, the league announced Wednesday (April 28).

Ben Brandherm and Leon Grundstrom each were named Second Team All-GLIAC. Tony Henrio earned Honorable Mention recognition.

Brandherm played at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Timberwolves this season. He posted a 10-7 record in singles and a 7-10 mark in doubles. Brandherm went 6-2 in GLIAC singles play for Northwood.

Grundstrom was the Timberwolves top singles player and competed at the second position for the team in doubles. He was 9-8 overall in singles and 7-10 in doubles.

Henrio posted a 9-8 record in singles and a 4-12 mark in doubles. He played at the No. 4 slot in singles and alternated between two and three doubles.

Northwood finished the year at 3-14 overall while going 2-6 in the GLIAC.
