Leon Grundstrom Named G-MAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week

G-MAC ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

MIDLAND, MICH. – Leon Grundstrom, a sophomore from the Northwood University women's tennis team, has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week.

The conference made the announcement Monday (April 10).

Grundstrom lead the Northwood men's tennis team to a pair of sweeps last week, going 4-0 combined in singles and doubles from the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles positions. He was 2-0 at the top of the singles lineup and 2-0 in doubles with partner Eduardo Cabral.

Northwood will wrap up its regular season with a match at Hillsdale Saturday (April 15). First serve is set for Noon.
