Northwood University Announced Their Second Varsity Powerlifting Athlete Singing

MIDLAND, MICH. – Hunter Hawley has joined the Northwood Timberwolves as a member of the varsity powerlifting team.

A Birch Run native, Hunter was a multi-sport athlete throughout high school, competing in football, wrestling, track, and powerlifting. He served as a team captain in both football and wrestling, demonstrating leadership both on and off the field. In addition to athletics, Hunter was a class officer for two years and participated in the LINKS program, where he worked closely with students with special needs in the classroom.

Outside of academics and competition, Hunter enjoys staying active through fishing, hiking, and golfing, and he has a strong interest in cooking and learning new recipes. As he begins his collegiate career at Northwood University, Hunter looks forward to contributing his leadership experience to the powerlifting team while pursuing a degree in business management and continuing to grow as an athlete, student, and member of the campus community.
