RECAP: Northwood softball dropped a pair of games.at Tiffin on Thursday afternoon (April 2). The Timberwolves were edged 1-0 in a pitcher's duel in game one before falling 10-2 in six innings in game two.
GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS
- Northwood created several chances throughout the game, with Brinley Eckerman, Delanie Gale, and Jenna Kowalski each recording hits. The Timberwolves, however, were unable to string together timely offense, with their best opportunity coming in the sixth when Gale singled and advanced to second on a stolen base.
- Kamden Binney was spectacular in the circle, going 6.2 innings without surrendering a hit, but in the bottom half of the seventh, Tiffin delivered a clutch RBI single to deep right center to bring home the runner from first for the game's lone run, giving Tiffin a 1-0 walk-off victory.

GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS
- Northwood struck first in the opening inning as Brinley Eckerman walked and came around to score on an RBI single from Delanie Gale to take an early 1-0 lead.
- Tiffin responded in the bottom half to tie the game before breaking things open in the second inning, scoring six runs on four hits and taking advantage of multiple walks to build a 7-1 lead.
- The Timberwolves answered in the third inning when Gale launched a solo home run to center field, cutting the deficit to 7-2. The home run is her third of the year and 19th of her career.
- Tiffin added a run in the third and continued to build its lead with another in the fifth following a Northwood dropped pop-up, before tacking on one more in the sixth to secure the 10-2 victory in six innings.
