Luke Eros Gets Set To Represent NU Track & Field At USATF U20 Championships In Eugene

EUGENE, OR. – Northwood men's track & field athlete Luke Eros is set to represent the Timberwolves at the United States Track & Field (USATF) Under-20 (U20) Championships presented by Nike this week (June 12-13) in Eugene, Oregon. The meet is held at Hayward Field in Eugene on the campus of the University of Oregon.

The freshman, Eros, is slated to rep the blue and white during the discus competition on Wednesday (June 12) at 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT.

In his final competition of the outdoor season, Eros posted a USATF U20 qualifying standard for the discus throw with a 51.80m toss at the GVSU Last Chance Meet (May 11). His PR was 3.79m further than his previous best and is currently fourth in NU history.
