FIRST QUARTER

  • The opening quarter was fast-paced and wide open.
  • Northwood scored the first three points of the game, only to see the Eagles respond with a big run, scoring 16 of the next 18 points to go up 16-5.
  • NU responded with eight straight points to cut the margin to 13 before the Eagles eventually led 26-20 after one.
