Women's Basketball Picked To Finish Fifth In GLIAC South - Ellie Taylor Named Preseason All-GLIAC
2020-21 GLIAC Women's Basketball Poll
MIDLAND, MICH. - The Northwood University women's basketball team was picked to finish fifth in the South Division of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll, which the league released Thursday (December 17).
Voting was done by the head coaches of the 12 teams around the GLIAC.
Northwood finished with 27 points. Ashland was picked to win the South Division at 61 points, followed by Grand Valley State at 43
Ferris State (53) was named the favorite in the North Division (60), followed by Michigan Tech (47).
In addition, senior guard Ellie Taylor was named to the GLIAC Preseason All-Conference Team for the South Division. She has led Northwood in scoring each of the last two seasons.
Northwood will open their season at home against Davenport January 8.
