GAME STORY

  • The key part of the contest came in the opening quarter. Northwood scored the first four points of the quarter and led the remainder of the game.
  • Cedarville cut the lead to 4-2 at the 5:42 mark, but that proved to be the final made field goal of the quarter.
  • Northwood scored the final 13 points of the first to open up a 17-2 lead after one.
