Women's Golf Competes At NC4K College Classic

The Northwood University women's golf team competed at the NC4K College Classic Sunday and Monday (April 8).

The two-day event was hosted by Ohio Dominican at the Jefferson Country Club.

Northwood shot team scores of 363 and 354 to finish at 717 overall, good for 12th place.  California (PA) was the overall winner at 637, followed by Grand Valley State 638.  A total of 18 teams took part in the event.

Brittany Davidson (Mississauga, Ont.) was the top finisher for the Timberwolves.  She carded rounds of 87 and 90 to tie for 44th overall.  Emily Vergin (Milford, Mich.) finished at 180 (93-87) to tie for 52nd.  A total of 94 players took part in the event.

The Timberwolves will host the Northwood Invite Saturday and Sunday (April 13-14).  The tournament will take place at Buck's Run Golf Club in Mt. Pleasant.
