Women's Golf Places 15th At UIndy Fall Invitational
The Northwood University women's golf team placed 15th out of 18 teams at the University of Indy Fall Invitational Monday afternoon (September 23).
The two-day, 36-hole event was held at Heartland Crossing Golf Links in Camby, Ind.
Northwood shot team scores of 342 and 325 to finish at 667 overall. Ferris State was the overall winner at 615, followed by a tie between the host University of Indianapolis and Arkansas Tech at 618. Findlay was fourth at 621 while Ashland was fifth at 622.
Leading the way for Northwood was senior Amee Cox (Liverpool, England). She tied for 44th overall with rounds of 83-80 to finish with a total of 163. A total of 105 players took part in the event.
Northwood will compete at Grand Valley Invitational September 28-29.
