MIDLAND, MICH. – Sydni Harding from the Northwood University women's golf team has been named an All-American Scholar by Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).
A total of a total of 1,097 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
Harding had a breakthrough sophomore season for Northwood this season. She became the second player in program history to qualify for the NCAA National Championship after placing third overall at the NCAA East Regional Championship. Harding went on to place 55th at the National Championship. She ended the year with a scoring average of 79.3, good for second on the team.
