Women's Golf Finishes Eighth At Findlay Spring Invitational

OVERVIEW – FINDLAY SPRING INVITATIONAL

LOCATION: Boone's Trace National Golf Club – Richmond, Ky. (Par 72 – 6,080 yards)
RECAP: Northwood women's golf placed eighth at the Findlay Spring Invitational Monday (March 15).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood shot team scores of 323 and 329 to finish at 652.
• Host Findlay, who is currently ranked No. 4 in Division II was the winner at 609 (305-304). No. 10 Grand Valley State placed second at 611 (303-308).
• A total of 15 teams took part in the event. Four of the teams are currently ranked in the top 32 in the current Division II rankings.
• The event was originally scheduled to finish Tuesday (March 16), but the final round was cancelled due to poor weather.

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Ava Weeks: 80-78=158 – tied for 20th overall
• Sydney Dausman: 79-80=159 – tied for 23rd
• Nemo Cheewasupakorn: 83-83=166 – tied for 48th
• A total of 82 players competed in the tournament.

UP NEXT

• Northwood will compete at the FIndianapolis Invitational March 30-31.
