Women's Golf Places Four On WGCA All-American Scholar Team

WGCA RELEASE

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University women's golf team had four student-athletes honored as All-American Scholars from the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).

Freshman Nemo Cheewasupakorn, junior Sydney Dausman, sophomore Paulina Marquez and sophomore Katie Maybank represented Northwood on the list.

To be selected, a student-athlete must:

  • Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
  • Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season.
  • Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.

In all, a total of 1,551 student-athletes were honored by the WGCA.
