Women's Lacrosse Earns Third Straight Win, Defeating Greensboro 19-3

RECAP: Northwood Women's Lacrosse earned its third straight win Tuesday (March 11), defeating Greensboro 19-3.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Greensboro started the game fast, scoring the first to goals of the game in the opening 2:13.
- Northwood responded with the next five goals of the period, three of which came from Montana Chuba. Sam Peterson and Emma Volpe added goals in the first as well.
- The Pride netted the final goal of the period to make the score 5-2 after one.
- Greensboro's goal to end the first period proved to be their last of the game, as Northwood took over in the second.
- The Timberwolves earned goals in the second from Chuba (three), Peterson (two), Gabby Wilson, Paige Schultz, Cece Gibson and Taylor Murrell to take a 14-3 lead at the break.
- Northwood put up three goals in the third period, as Addie Valler, Chuba and Alyssa Carnes put Northwood on top 17-3.
- Rudy Verlinden and Gabriella Torgeson netted the final two goals of the game in the final quarter to close out the win.
