GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• Missouri Western set the tone for the day right away, scoring 25 seconds into the contest.
• MWSU eventually scored the first five goals before Northwood got on the board at the 4:57 mark of the first on a goal from Sam Peterson
• That started a run for NU, as the Timberwolves scored three of the next four goals. Peterson netted a pair while Gabby Wilson scored another to make the score 6-3.
• The Griffons responded with the two final goals of the period, which came in the final 24 seconds of the first. That made the score 8-3 after one.
• Missouri Western controlled the second period, putting up six of the seven goals scored. NU's lone goal came from Peterson at the 5:35 mark.
