GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Ashland, the lone unbeaten team in the G-MAC, set the tone for the game in the opening quarter. The Eagles scored nine unanswered goals in the first to lead 9-0 after one.
  • Northwood played better at the start of the second, as Montana Chuba and Gabby Wilson gave the Timberwolves two of the first three goals of the quarter to make the score 10-2. The Eagles responded with the final seven goals of the second to send the game to the break with Ashland leading 17-2.
  • NU started the third in similar fashion to the second, scoring three of the first four goals. Wilson, Chuba and Sam Peterson found the back of the net to get within 13 at 18-5. AU netted the final three goals of the period, giving Ashland a 21-5 lead heading to the fourth.
  • Just three goals were scored in the fourth, with Wilson netting one for the Timberwolves.
