Women's Lacrosse Earns Dramatic 18-17 Win Over Tiffin

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Tiffin was the better team early, scoring four of the first five goals of the game. The Dragons eventually led 5-3 after the first, with NU getting goals from Taylor Murrell, Gabby Wilson and Sam Peterson.
- The Dragons led 8-5 with 6:58 remaining in the second when Northwood finished the half strong. The Timberwolves scored the final three goals of the period to send the game to the break tied 8-8. Montana Chuba scored three goals in the quarter, while Wilson and Peterson each added one each.
- Northwood took its first lead of the day at 11-10, only to see Tiffin go on a run. TU scored five straight goals to take a 15-11 lead. NU responded by netting the final three goals of the quarter to send the game to the fourth with the Dragons leading 15-14. Peterson and Murrell each scored two goals for Northwood in the third, while Alyssa Carnes and Wilson each added one.
- It was a one-goal game the entire fourth quarter. With the score tied 17-17 in the final moments of the contest, Murrell netted the game-winner with 27 seconds remaining to clinch the victory. Wilson scored a pair of goals in the fourth. Murrell and Peterson each added one.
