GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• Northwood got off to a strong start in the game, scoring the opening two goals of the contest thanks to Anna Nichols and Mairin Ziegler.
• Malone responded with the final three goals of the first to lead 3-2 after one.
• After the Pioneers made it 4-2 early in the second, Ziegler got Northwood back to within one at the 8:12 mark.
• MU scored the next two goals to go back up 6-3.
• Zielger netted a goal at 3:34 mark to get the Timberwolves within two at 6-4.
• Malone scored the final goal of the period to send the game to the break with the Pioneers on top 7-4.
• MU scored the only three goals of the third to send the game to the fourth with the Pioneers up 10-4.
• Malone extended their run to five straight goals early in the fourth before Paige Schultz connected on a free position attempt to make the score 11-5 with 9:25 remaining.
