GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Northwood opened the scoring at the 13:44 mark of the opening quarter on a goal from Gabby Wilson.
- After a pair of Thomas More goals, Mairin Ziegler leveled the score at 2-2.
- With TMU on top 3-2, Northwood scored four straight goals to go up by three. Madalynn Nowak tied the score before Ziegler scored a pair. Anna Nichols made the score 6-3 at 5:58.
- The Saints came right back with four goals of their own to back up 7-6 before Paige Schultz ended the first with a goal to tie the game at 7-7.
- Wilson tied the game at 8-8 at 10:55 in the second quarter before Thomas More scored four straight to go up 12-8.
- Anna Young netted her first goal of the game at 4:21 to get NU within three.
- The Saints scored the final three goals of the half to lead 15-9 at the break.
- TMU kept the momentum going early in the third quarter, putting up four of the first five goals. Wilson scored NU's goal in that stretch, which ended with the Saints leading 19-10.
- Ziegler scored two of the final three goals of the quarter to send the game to the fourth with Thomas More leading 20-12.
- After TMU scored the first three goals of the fourth, Northwood put up three straight goals thanks to Wilson, Young and Addie Valler.
- The Saints earned the final goal of the game to make the final 24-15.
