RECAP: Northwood defeats Concordia 5-1 Sunday afternoon (September 22), moving the Timberwolves to 4-1 on the season.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- After both teams had chances early on, Northwood took the lead at the 19:00 mark. Karina Parker netted her third goal of the season off a feed from Kassidy Embrey.
- The Timberwolves made it 2-0 four minutes later, as Embrey doubled the NU lead to 2-0 off a rebound.
- The score remained 2-0 at the break. Northwood held a 17-10 edge in shots in the opening 45 minutes.
- NU kept the offense going in the second half, as freshman Juliana Paoletti netted her team-leading fourth goal of the season at 68:23 to make the score 3-0.
