Caywood Earns G-MAC Defensive Player Of The Week After Women's Soccer 2-1 Win At Cal. (Pa.)

G-MAC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - Grace Caywood of the Northwood women's soccer team, earned the Defensive Athlete of the Week from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this week, Monday (September 9). It's her first career Athlete of the Week honor and the first honor for a women's soccer player this season.

In her first start for the Timberwolves, Caywood led the team to a 2-1 victory on the road at Cal (Pa.). She totaled two saves while playing all 90 minutes in the win.

Women's soccer starts the season 1-0 as they return to Midland for their home opener Thursday (September 12) versus Davenport. The match time is set for noon at Dean Field.
