Brengman Takes Home G-MAC Defensive Athlete Of The Week Honors

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - Reagan Brengman of the Northwood women's soccer team earned Defensive Athlete of the Week from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this week, Monday (October 28). It's her first career Athlete of the Week honor and the fourth different honor for a women's soccer player this season.

Brengman led the Timberwolves' back line to two shutout victories last week, beating Lake Erie 1-0 (October 24) and Malone 1-0 (October 26). She and Northwood's defense allowed just two shot attempts versus Malone, neither of which were on goal.

Women's soccer is currently 10-0-5 overall and 8-0-3 in the G-MAC. They continue their road trip with a visit to Findlay Thursday (October 31). The match is set for a 1 p.m. first kick.
