GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Northwood controlled possession early, earning a corner just over a minute into the match. The Timberwolves' pressure paid off in the 34' when Addison Waito intercepted a clearance near the top of the box and buried a low shot inside the right post to make it 1-0.
- The Timberwolves carried that advantage into halftime behind a composed defensive effort that limited Lake Erie to just two shots on goal in the opening half.
- Northwood seized full momentum in the 58' when Carly Boyd delivered an Olympico goal directly from a corner kick, doubling the lead to 2-0.
- The Timberwolves kept rolling, and less than six minutes later, Madison Corder added her first career goal, stepping into a loose ball at the top of the box and finishing low to the right corner for a 3-0 cushion.
- Lila Brundage capped the scoring in the 78', lofting in the final blow off Jenna D'Alimonte's free kick from near midfield — marking the first goal of her collegiate career.
- Lindsay Jacob anchored the back line with four key saves to secure the shutout — her ninth of the season and a new single-season program record. Northwood finished with a 16-8 edge in shots and a 9-2 advantage in corner kicks while never allowing Lake Erie to build sustained momentum.
