Women's Tennis Opens Season With 8-1 Win Over Hillsdale

The Northwood women's tennis team began its GLIAC Championship defense with an 8-1 win over Hillsdale Friday afternoon (September 7).

The match was the season-opener for Hillsdale as well.

Northwood got off to a strong start in doubles, winning all of the matches to go up 3-0 heading into singles. The Timberwolves then posted five victories in singles, four of which came in straight sets.

The Timberwolves travel to Findlay Saturday (September 8). Match time is set for 10 a.m.
